Petaluma, Calif. (March 13, 2020) — In response to school closures due to the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, FrontRow is offering its Teacher Edition Lesson Capture software for free, starting today for a limited time. FrontRow is committed to supporting the education community and enhancing teaching and learning through its communication technologies.

FrontRow’s lesson capture software enables educators to capture their lessons for students to access later. The software records a teacher’s voice, multimedia, and material presented on a screen. Once a teacher finishes a lesson, it automatically converts the recording as a video file and uploads it to a desired online destination for students to access at home. Lesson capture is an easy-to-use tool for schools to reinforce lessons and mitigate the effects of a student’s absence from the classroom.

“We are deeply passionate about the education of our young students at FrontRow as they are the global citizens and leaders of the future. This is a time for us all to come together and do what we can to help. As an organization, we are happy to help fight the effects of these school closures by offering our lesson capture software” said FrontRow President Jens Holstebro.

The Teacher Edition Lesson Capture software ($49 value) can be obtained by downloading the 45-Day Trial of the software through the FrontRow website here. Those who want to continue to use the software for free can request a license code by emailing Customer Care. The software can be used with or without FrontRow classroom audio systems.

FrontRow’s technology helps schools communicate effortlessly with students, groups, and devices. Schools choose FrontRow for its easy-to-use products, better academic outcomes, and a safer, more efficient campus. FrontRow is part of the William Demant Group—founded in 1904 and listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange (CSE3247)—through 45 Group companies in over 20 countries, its consolidated sales exceed US$1.9 billion.
