“We are in an environment where safety is a priority for us. Conductor can automate critical emergency responses: locking doors, giving verbal instructions, pushing evacuation maps, digital signage and more. “If we do have lightning or a storm outside I can push the lightening tab,” says Millan, “we also have a fire tab, a lockdown and a shelter lockdown.”

Traditional bells and paging systems could no longer handle the school’s most basic needs; for example, shifting bell schedules for daylight saving time. “We were at a point that we actually had to contract someone out to come and change all of our bells,” states Millan.

Concludes Millan, “not only is Conductor good on our end in allowing us to communicate with the staff, but, [with Juno], it allows the staff to communicate with the students in a more productive way. It’s a great way to ensure the students have the audio levels they need in their classrooms, a great way for teachers to save their voices, and a great way to ensure safety.”
